Sign up

If you have a demo version, and it is the first time that you use the mobile app, you should register an user associated with your mobile phone. One unique user for each mobile device is allowed.

Configuration

You can configure the video streaming (resolution, fps, video compression). This configuration is the key aspect of getting the desired results.

Option to make a local video recording in the mobile phone.

These options are directly related to the network quality and video quality desired.

Main usage

In the main section, we have the interactive user area, where the user can select the recognition desired and start/stop video streaming. Also, the information area, where the user can check the mobile and network status.

Recognition checkboxs:

  • Faces: Activate/deactivate face recognitions.
  • Plates: Activate/deactivate license plate recognitions.
  • Scene: Activate/deactivate scene and object recognitions (activate by default).

Recording

Button to start/stop the video streaming/recording.

State icons

Status of the services related to the proper working and high video quality.

Speed test

The up bandwidth value is under network icon. If you press the network icon, the app shows a speed test modal.

Chat

In this section, the mobile user could send and receive a message to/from the web user. Also, both services will send notifications in the chat section.

Warehouse

Local videos warehouse, we can send these videos to the server.

General information

In the live section, you will be able to watch real-time videos from your associated devices and simultaneously follow the device situation and status. Furthermore, the real-time video process makes possible check the faces, plates and scenes recognition.

Devices

This area shows a list with all of devices registered in LIFEonLive service. It is located on the left and notifies information about device status. To facilitate the search for the channels, you can sort them by writing the name of the device in 'Global search ...' bar.

Information about icons:

  • Information about device connection state and up bandwidth. Green: connected, Red: disconnected.

  • Channel to test local videos. Green: activate, Red: deactivate.

  • Fixed cameras channel. Green: connected, Red: disconnected.

  • Faces recognition counter.

  • Plates recognition counter.

  • Button to start stream remotely.

  • Button to stop stream remotely.

  • Button to open chat with the mobile device.

Test your videos 

Special channel to upload your videos and test the deeplearning networks. If you click the play button, a modal containing all the uploaded videos will be opened. Also, it will be possible to upload a new video or delete a previous one.

Video

The most important area is located in the middle of the page, the video area plays a real-time stream from the device. Here the user gets most of the information like scenes descriptions (top of video area) and recognitions (faces and plates, the bottom of video area).

  • The area where system shows the main caption (description of the scene). You can activate/disable clicking the icon.

  • The area where system shows main five objects detected in the image. You can activate/disable clicking the icon.

  • The area where system shows captions/objects filtered. You can activate/disable clicking the icon.

DeepLearning networks

Our system uses DeepLearning algorithms to analyze the video stream each second and get as much information as possible. Facial, objects, scenes and license plates recognition.

  • Face recognition

    Network to facial recognition to any person included in our lists.

    We can configure the recognition 'score' and people list clicking the configuration icon located in face recognition carousel.

  • Objects recognition

    Network used for getting the objects that appear in the image.

  • Scene description

    This network analyses the image and gets several descriptions from image areas.

  • License plates recognition

    Network to registered license plates recognition.

    We can configure the license plates recognition 'score' clicking the configuration icon located in license plates carousel.

Recognition filters

In this section, we can also choose filters. Whit this filters we can search elements using our networks that analyze the video in real time. If we write the main word in the searching box, the filter will copy sentences that contain this word to the white box (in the video section).

Location map

The right area includes location information. This is represented by GPS coordinates in a Google Map (or by GLONASS, BDS or IRNSS if you prefer). With this information we could include 'geofending' or 'tracking' functionality.

  • Show the GPS values that mobile device sends to the server.

    • Information about GPS iconography

      • The device is stopped.

      • The person carrying the device is walking.

      • The person carrying the device is running.

      • The person carrying the device is in a car.

Sensors

We can get all the metadata from the device’s sensors and use these to represent the device state, position, speed, etc. To get all of this information, we use the accelerometer, gyroscope, compass or proximity sensor among other device sensors.

  • Show the sensors values that mobile device sends to the server.

    • Information about sensors iconography

      • It indicates that the device is in the upright position.

      • A display alarm to let (the user) know the device is fallen (Man Down Alarm). This is useful to know that the person carrying the device in lying on the floor.

      • It reports that the device is falling from upright to a horizontal position (struggle).

ChatBots

A bot manager of analyze the videos unattended, to provide early warnings without losing privacy and without need people to look over the channels.

The search bar make easier to find the correct recording, you could use username, dates or special tag like 'face:', 'plate:', 'caption:' to filter the recordings.

  • This icon is light up when the recording has GPS coordinates saved and the system can represent an area of activity in the map.

    Counter with the number of license plate recognitions in the recording. The recognitions will be represented in the video progress bar with a shortcut.

    Counter with the number of face recognitions in the recording. The recognitions will be represented in the video progress bar with a shortcut.

Clicking the shortcuts the user can watch the moment when the recognition occurs.

The right area includes location information. This is represented drawing a Google Map action area.

General information

In Administration section, if we have super user privileges, we can modify mobile settings (resolution or frames per second) or activate video stream remotely.

The devices list are in the upper section, each on shows the main information associated to video streaming. We can enable remote activation section if we select a device.

Devices actions

Once you have selected the device, you can change the username, and stream properties in this section.

Log

The remote changes or activations will be registered in the log box.

Images test

In this section, you will be available a set of images to test recognition deeplearning networks. The images are classified into groups in function of the type of recognition: faces, plates, and scenes.
